Re: Tennis Leaders Course at Collingham TC - Weds 14th February: 9am - 3.30pm (Cost £25)
I am running an LTA Youth Tennis Leaders course for the children at the club aged 11-18yrs. This course is the first step on a leadership programme in tennis and equips children with the skills needed to support coaches and volunteers to deliver coaching sessions, holiday clubs, after school clubs, competitions, open days, off-court activities and much more. Leaders are never asked to run a coaching session by themselves but they’ll get the chance to lead some activities and get some valuable experience in coaching. Children who go on to regularly volunteer at the club are hugely valuable to us as coaches and can act as great role models for the younger children.
The course is a fun and rewarding way to develop skills that helps participants in both their tennis and off-court in daily life. What they will get from the the programme:
Date: Weds 14th February: 9am - 3.30pm
Format of the course: On the 14th February we will complete the following three modules:
Cost: £25 (if 2 booking from same family then 50% off second child)
Ages: 11-18yrs

If you are keen for your child to attend then please just reply to my text message and once payment has been made by BACS then I will reserve their place on the course.
