Coaching cost changes as of April 1st 2023 - Action needed by 20th March
I hope your child/children continue to enjoy their tennis at the club. We are continuing to try to make each child’s tennis experience fun but challenging and have lots of activities (competitions, matches and holiday camps) planned over the next few months. I am writing to let you know of some coaching cost changes. If you could please read the information below and send me a text by the 20th of March to let me know your decisions on coaching packages and membership.
Section 1: Coaching Package Subscription Increase
After staying the same since January 2020, I am writing to let you know that monthly coaching subscriptions will be going up from 31st March 2023. The coaching payment is going up by £2 each month - this will be a universal increase to all coaching packages, i.e. player, team and sibling discount packages. I have tried to keep costs the same but with rising costs it is no longer feasible.
Section 2: Junior Membership Fee Collection 2023-24
Annual Junior Membership is now £20 and the current membership year runs 1st April to end of March 2024. This has increased in line with other membership categories and reflects the significantly current higher prices of floodlights and general club upkeep. As has been the case for some time, all junior coachees have to be members of the club which is the normal practice at most clubs across the UK. At Collingham TC the annual membership is lower in comparison to most other clubs. As well as being able to access coaching, junior players get with their membership:
If you wish your child to continue to receive coaching from 31st March and consent to me increasing their subscription amount by the additional £2 mentioned in section 1 and the monthly membership fee addition outlined in section 2 on your behalf then please text me on 07535 277386 before the 20th March. This change will take effect from 1st April.
What to do if your child/children are part of a family membership?
If your child’s membership is to be covered through a club family membership then the additional membership fee (£1.66) to subscriptions will not be taken as the child’s m mbership is already covered.
However, if you are joining as a family and want to continue your child’s/children’s coaching then please text or email me with consent to change your monthly subscription by an additional £2/month.

- Full access to the courts when they are free: bookings can be made online
- Free British Tennis Membership with entry into Wimbledon Ballet and other offers
- Free entry into annual Club Championship
- Discounted Holiday Camps
